What organizations does the Tucker Lions Club support?
The Tucker Lions Club supports many service organizations, including (but not limited to):
Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind
Georgia Lions Lighthouse
Leader Dog School
American Diabetes Association
Children's Eye Center
Recording for the Blind
Tucker Football League
Recycling Used Eyeglasses
Salvation Army
How does the Club raise funds?
The Tucker Lions Club raises funds by conducting roadblocks at various intersections and at grocery stores at various times during the year as well as a White Cane fund drive for blind activities. Planning for these events is ongoing during the year.
All monies collected by the Tucker Lions Club benefit the charities only. None of these donations are ever used by the Club itself.
How do I become a member?
First, please visit the Tucker Lions Club. If you desire to become a member, then please let any Club Officer know. Please note that Lions Club membership is by invitation only.
What is the Cost of Membership?
Yearly dues are US\$60.00.
Periodically Lions are asked to participate in drawings and incidental fines. These funds are used to fund the Club's administrative costs.
